  มีสองชนิดหลักๆ
    -  Single core / shielded (unbalanced)

3-pin XLR

ส่วนใหญ่ใช้เพื่องาน balanced audio signals เพื่อหลีกเลี่ยงการเกิด inference

3-pin XLR Male

XLR -> 1/4" TRS Connector (balanced mono)

หรือที่เราเรียกว่า stereo jack plug

    * XLR pin 1 to jack sleeve
    * XLR pin 2 to jack tip
    * XLR pin 3 to jack ring

XLR -> 1/4" Mono Jack

ต่อ 3-pin XLR เข้ากับ 1/4" mono jack (6.5mm), บัดกรีเชื่อม -ve เข้ากับ shield

XLR -> 1x RCA

ต่อ 3-pin XLR เข้ากับ RCA, การไวร์ริ่งสายเหมือน XLR -> 1/4" jack.

บัดกรี -ve เข้ากับ shield ของ XLR
